Q3 2025 Operational Highlights & Investor Update

Hello Workstream investors and advisors,

As we reflect on Q3, much of our focus was on gearing up for the busy Q4 payroll season and setting our clients up for a seamless experience. At the same time, we advanced key initiatives tied to our 2H '25 OKRs:

Deliver an easy and compliant all-in-one Payroll and HR platform for multi-location restaurants (<1,000 employees) to manage payroll, HR, benefits, hiring, time & scheduling, accelerated by AI.

  • Focus on multi-location restaurants (we want to double down our vertical that works the best for our product)
  • 6 product suites: Payroll, HR, Benefits, Hiring, T&S, Voice AI
  • Deliver delightful product and customer experience that is easy and compliant
  • We were focusing on <500 employees in past 12 months, we are moving up-market now to focus on <1,000 employees multi-location restaurants
  • Launch new capabilities: including Benefits Administration and ACA Tracking, both introduced this past quarter.

Here’s some highlights:

  • We have significantly grown from $100K ARR for Payroll AIO in Jan '24 to $2.5M ARR in Sep ‘25 (~22 months)
  • Our second annual customer conference (On the Clock) was a success with over 100+ customers, partners, and investors in attendance
  • Our new products such as Voice AI, Talent Network, Ben Admin and Compliance Shield (ACA compliance monitoring) are all gaining traction in the market and growing fast
  • Last year, Q4 was our peak season for payroll revenue and we are expecting a similar trajectory for this Q4 FY25!

Workstream Annual Customer Conference in San Jose

We wrapped up our second annual customer conference, On the Clock at San Jose @ Hayes Mansion Sep 10-11. We are grateful to have so many top customers and investors join us including Firehouse Subs former Chairman, Inspire Brands CCO, VF Corp (North Face, Vans) CEO, and more!

This year’s conference brought in over 100 attendees—more than triple last year—including investors, partners, customers, and potential prospects. Engagement was high across product roadshows and a diverse lineup of thought-leadership panels covering a broad set of topics.

  1. Content marketing is an important strategy for us as we want to reach out to our restaurant audience and engage them! We started a YouTube channel and are leaning on that as a core content engine for other content channels from IG, email, and more.

  3. Strategic partnerships with restaurant tech and point of sales companies We are exploring strategic partnerships with POS, technology and food supplier companies, so if you have introductions to any companies from point of sales companies that you may know well!

    For example, we would love to talk to food supplier partners like Sysco, US Foods, Performance Food Groups or any other partners you may know of!

Here are more updates from Q3

  1. Our Voice AI technology acts as an extra member of the hiring team and facilitates the hiring process for everyone involved
    1. The breakthrough technology reduces time to hire up to 30% by owning routine tasks such as screening applicants, re-scheduling interviews, answering questions, and more
    2. Since launch, Voice AI has reduced interview no-show rate by up to 75% and increased applicant closure rate (hired or rejected) from 44% to 59% by helping customers make more informed decisions about candidates
  2. Talent Network represents the second of our new AI-enhanced products and further increases the value proposition of our AIO platform
    1. Allows customers to cut job board costs by more than half since they no longer need to pay for job board ads
    2. Opening up a future opportunity for those customers to transition that spend Workstream sponsored jobs
  3. Ben Admin and Compliance Shield products strengthen our AIO proposition
    1. Reached $160K in Benefits Admin ARR, reflecting strong early-market demand with over 84% close rate in just 5 months since launch!
    2. Expanded to 8 active customers, up 167% since beta launch last quarter, with a strong implementation pipeline of 21 more into Q4 and early Q1 2026
    3. 130+ employees are actively enrolling and managing benefits through our system.
  4. Introducing our own Regional Sales team 
    1. Our field sales motion is evolving into a full regional sales team to support rapid growth and broader market coverage
    2. Early sign of success with new reps closing their first deals in under 6 weeks!
    3. With a new regional structure and continued investment, the team is positioned to drive deeper customer relationships and fuel sustained revenue expansion in FY26

Quarterly Metrics

For customers with Payroll AIO, our NRR is ~135%, GRR ~90%, GLR ~92%, and we will continue to focus on our strategy to lean into Payroll AIO. We expect as Payroll ARR increases, our overall company metrics will continue to improve as well.
