We are looking for a Director of Talent dedicated to stewarding our most valuable resource - our people! We are accepting applications and will begin the screening process on June 1, 2025.
The Director of Talent executes strategies specifically related to staffing at Chick-fil-A Simpsonville in conjunction with sales trends, organizational goals, and overall team experience. The Director of Talent works closely with our Sr. Director of Talent and operational leadership to implement recruitment marketing and team care initiatives to ensure we create a workplace culture reflective of our mission, vision, and values.

Director of Talent Benefits:

Director of Talent Requirements:

Availability Expectations:
- Monday - Saturday availability (typical work schedule would be 5 days/week)
- Preferred availability: 7:00am - 8:00pm
- Typical schedule will vary working 8-10 hours/day to accommodate meetings, interviews, and needs of the business, working 40-45 hours/week in total
Director of Talent Deliverables:
- Maintain a constant and adequate pipeline of applicants in alignment with proactive recruitment marketing strategies, understanding the current and future staffing needs of Chick-fil-A Simpsonville.
- Oversee all hiring processes, from application to onboarding, as well as manage disciplinary processes to ensure proper protocols and best practices are being followed at Chick-fil-A Simpsonville.
- In partnership with Sr. Director of Talent, mitigate risk as the HR representative of Chick-fil-A Simpsonville in regards to hiring and disciplinary processes by upholding legal guidelines and best practices at all times.
- Keep all hiring data current in order to analyze metrics, including application traffic, applicant to hire/dropout ratio as well as retention, specific to Chick-fil-A Simpsonville and identify insights with Talent Team.
- Ensure all new hire paperwork is collected via current HRIS, up to date, in compliance, and transferred to HR Payroll respectively.
- Champion team care and growth opportunities in order to prioritize team member experience at Chick-fil-A Simpsonville, including, but not limited to the oversight of our training program, premium pay opportunities, internal promotions, leadership development initiatives, and team celebrations at Chick-fil-A Simpsonville.
Operational Commitment:
Our Director of Talent will be immersed in the operations of our business, learning both Front of House and Heart of House, and will be expected to uphold the highest standards as a leader in the restaurant. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to...
- Become knowledgeable of all of Chick-fil-A’s menu items & the related recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness in all food preparation & service areas.
- Execute hospitality by cooking, preparing, and presenting food orders to meet Chick-fil-A’s quality standards.
- Perform various kitchen and front counter cleaning and storage activities such as dish washing, general & equipment cleaning, storage & rotation of food and supplies.
- Handle all food-related, storage, & cleaning activities in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards that comply with all federal, state, & local regulatory procedures.
- Engage with our guests by anticipating and responding to their needs through clear and pleasant communication, leading with a hospitality focus.
- Contribute to a safe and overall positive environment by maintaining cleanliness throughout the shift in all food preparation areas
- Maintain a calm demeanor, especially during periods of high volume, to preserve a positive work environment and a hospitable experience for our guests.
