Catering Director – Ilforno Brands


Position Overview:

Ilforno Brands is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Catering Director to lead and grow our catering operations. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive catering sales, ensuring exceptional service, and managing all aspects of catering events. The ideal candidate is a highly organized leader with a passion for hospitality, strong sales acumen, and experience in high-volume catering operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development:
  • Develop and implement catering sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.
  • Build relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and local businesses to drive catering sales.
  • Identify new market opportunities and expand catering services within the community.
  • Operations & Execution:
  • Oversee the planning and execution of all catering events, ensuring quality, timeliness, and guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with culinary and service teams to create tailored catering menus that align with Ilforno’s brand standards.
  • Manage logistics, staffing, and equipment needs for on-site and off-site catering events.
  • Client Relations & Service Excellence:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for catering clients, ensuring clear communication and exceptional service.
  • Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly to maintain long-term relationships.
  • Maintain high standards of food presentation and service consistency.
  • Financial & Administrative Oversight:
  • Develop and manage catering budgets, ensuring profitability and cost control.
  • Track catering sales performance and provide regular reports to leadership.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors and suppliers as needed.
  • Team Leadership & Training:
  • Recruit, train, and supervise catering staff to uphold Ilforno’s quality and service standards.
  • Foster a positive work environment and ensure team members are equipped for success.
  • Implement operational best practices to streamline efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience in catering sales, event planning, or hospitality management.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple events and clients simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and catering logistics.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
