Catering Sales Coordinator (FULL TIME)

Must have willingness to multi-task, the ability to follow directions and work under the supervision of the General Manager and Director of Sales while upholding the standards of the establishment. This is an hourly plus commission professional full time sales position.
Catering Sales Coordinator Daily Tasks and Responsibilities:
· Assist Catering Sales Director in developing operations and soliciting new catering business through professional sales techniques.
· Communicate with clients to prepare arrangements with for functions that are booked in person, via the telephone, or through correspondence
· Ensure banquet event orders (i.e. food and beverage needs) are complete and that relevant details and arrangements are communicated to both the kitchen and banquet staff.
· Responsible for banquet sales for events ranging from Weddings to Corporate Dinners
· Facilitate repeat and new business for catering functions and exceed the sales goals
· Identify and call on past and prospective clients directly to solicit bookings for catering functions.
· Development of clients through communication and building relationships to maximize each individual clients revenue potential, in catering.
· Document and reviews all records for each catering event and analyze what can be done to improve booking sales.
· Maintain a thorough understanding of all catering function, guides, and policies; utilize appropriate contract documentation throughout deals with clients.
· Negotiate prices and arrangements with clients, draws up contracts, and secures client’s signature and deposit.
· Ability to work at High volume catering hall
· Manage all aspects of planning and execution of events.
· Serve as Customer service representative
· Able to work Nights and Weekends.
· Organize office paper work and guest menus
· Create a neat and clean work environment to present to guests
Catering Sales Coordinator Required Qualifications * Excellent verbal and written communication skills (phone, email, face-to-face)
· Proven sales skills
· Minimum 3 years sales experience
· Proven computer skill, MS Word, Excel, Outlook
· Demonstrated history of initiative
· Ability to be flexible with work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
· Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
· Ability to meet or exceed sales and performance quotas
· Detail-oriented, organized, a high sense of urgency, and track record of managing multiple events/priorities to desired results.
· Demonstrated strong guest service skills
Catering Sales Coordinator Preferred Qualifications * Demonstrated problem solving skills
· 3+ years sales experience
· 2+ years Catering Sales Experience
· Hospitality background
· CaterEase experience
