We are looking for an energetic, outgoing, and positive Team Member for Scratch Gourmet Express and Catering. This position will be responsible for greeting every guest when they arrive within 3-5 seconds, answering the phone, taking accurate orders, and delivering completed orders to the guest while adhering to the Scratch standard requirements – all with a great attitude and smile.
Ideal candidate has strong multi-tasking abilities to execute take-out with walk-ins/ call-ins and ensure the front of house is kept in a clean and orderly fashion on a daily basis. Community is also important to us, so it is imperative that we find someone outgoing and positive to sustain our high-level customer service.

Work Requirements:
- You must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Minimum one year cashiering experience preferred
- Serve Safe Alcohol Certified preffered
- Has driver’s license
- Quality control and consistency checks in food production
- Must have working knowledge of basic math application and computers
- Minimum requirement of basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Possesses good communication skills to work with customers and Scratch team
- Ability to direct the performance of the team and follow up with correction where needed
- Some hospitality experience preferred
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance
- Must have reliable transportation
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet all guests in a timely manner (3-5 seconds at most)
- Ensure that each guest has a positive, long-lasting impression of the Scratch experience
- Handle all orders and inquiries in a friendly and professional manner
- Ensure that we provide a quality product to all guests with quick and friendly service
- Immediately notify the Manager of all guest issues or complaints.
- Resolve low level guest issues with efficiency and a positive attitude.
- Ensuring compliance within all operations including maintaining the highest quality products and services
- Communicate effectively with all members of the Scratch team and community
- Ensure food is prepared to presentation specification, within its shelf life, and accurately labeled for the guest
- Follow restaurant standards, policies and procedures with all restaurant personnel
- Maintain front of house equipment maintenance, safety, cleanliness and sanitation standards according to code
- Cleaning of all restrooms and front of house with good safety and sanitation practices
- Maintain complete knowledge and strictly abide by health and safety standards
- Assisting with the organization of reach in coolers/ freezers
- Responsible for following instructions and carrying out assignments properly
