Job Summary
As a house person, your primary focus will be the cleanliness and presentation of our hotel public spaces and common areas. Our goal is to make a great first impression to our guests with a freshly cleaned and prepared welcome. You will work with our PM desk team to make sure our overnight guests are well attended to. We are looking for active people who like to clean and feel satisfaction in a completed, final product. Light maintenance skills are a plus!
Schedule: 8hr shift | 3pm - 11pm or 4pm – 12a
Daily Duties
- Cleaning public hotel restrooms including event area & restaurant restrooms
- Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors
- Vacuuming carpets and cleaning wall marks in event rooms
- Cleaning windows, mirrors, and entry doors
- Cleaning elevators & office areas
- Assisting front desk with guest requests
- Shuttle services on request
- Shoveling and maintaining walkways during the winter months
- Emptying trash around the property
- Light Maintenance work may also be included; changing light bulbs, painting, etc.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Valid Drivers License
- Ability to be physically active for hours at a time
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Self motivated
- Team player
- Customer service oriented
- Weekend availability, when we are busiest, is generally required
