Job Summary
The Front Desk team are the face of our hotel. Front Desk Managers assist our guests by listening to and understanding their specific needs to find them the perfect room. After arrival, our goal is to ensure our guests stay exceeds expectations. The Front Desk department is the hub of the hotel, and a great place to start your career in hospitality.
Daily Duties
- Front desk shifts
- Hiring, training, coaching and counseling to develop a strong team
- Reservation and revenue management
- Handle guests' complaints and specific requests
- Implement front office policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Daily communication with Front Desk team, department heads, GM and Corporate team
- Assist in the daily operations of all hotel departments as needed including front office, housekeeping and maintenance
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure our guests are well attended to while staying with us
- Advise and assist General Manager
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Requirements & Qualifications
- 4 year degree or equivalent education/hospitality experience
- Ability to solve guest issues with professionalism
- Ability to complete administrative duties in a timely manner
- Ability to promote positive morale and a friendly attitude
- Team Player
- Friendly and service oriented attitude
- Able to stand on feet for up to 8 hours
- Able to read and write English
- Intermediate computer skills
- Highschool Degree
- Some weekend availability, when we are busiest, is generally required in the hospitality industry
