Job Title: Server Assistant

Reports to: General Manager, Assistant General Manager, FOH/BOH Managers, Directors

Job Description:

Craft Culture Concepts is seeking Server Assistants for our restaurant, Parlour Pizza. The primary role of the server assistant is to support the service team in providing each guest an outstanding experience, and a clean and welcoming environment. The server assistants must be attentive to the needs of our guests, front of house and back of house teams.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist the server with clearing, pre-busing during the meal and reset tables after guests have left
• Maintain a clean, organized dining room and bar area during service
• Be a team player, lending a helping hand to fellow team members when needed
• Always helping keeping the guest the water glasses full
• Cleaning and sanitation of dishes, tableware, glassware, pots, pans and utensils through manual and machine cleaning methods.
• Keeping the dish pit clean, organized, and safe. 
• End of day janitorial duties such as mopping, cleaning restrooms and emptying trash.
• May help with basic prep work, if needed.
• Support the FOH team with clearing the table of remaining dishes, utensils, and food to prepare for the next diners. 
• Help maintain the restaurant’s sanitation standards by cleaning spills in the kitchen and dining areas, sanitizing tables, chairs, and booths between guest seatings, and keeping the restrooms clean. 
• Making sure boxes are broken down at the end of the day. 
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be a team player and demonstrate organizational skills.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
• Excellent verbal skills to be able to communicate clearly and effectively
• Positive interpersonal skills
• Must speak English fluently and be able to write in basic English

Working conditions:

While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is usually indoors, within a controlled environment, and experiences a moderate noise level inside the establishment.

Shifts are typically day/evenings and weekends.

Physical requirements:

• The employee is regularly required to communicate clearly and listen.
• The employee is required to stand, walk, and/or sit to work.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
