Parker Street Bakery is a new, elevated bakery + café concept from Main Street Entertainment Group focused on exceptional pastries, refined grab-and-go offerings, and a high-standard coffee program. We are looking for a skilled, motivated Barista Lead to help open the doors and set the tone for an outstanding guest experience.
Position Overview
The Barista Lead is responsible for leading the daily coffee program, ensuring consistent beverage quality, maintaining service standards, and helping train and support the barista team. This role requires a passionate, detail-oriented individual with strong specialty-coffee skills and the ability to guide a team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality espresso-based beverages with consistency and speed
- Lead, train, and mentor baristas on Parker Street Bakery standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient coffee bar at all times
- Oversee opening and closing procedures for the coffee station
- Monitor inventory and communicate par levels and ordering needs
- Ensure all equipment (espresso machine, grinders, brewers) is cleaned, dialed-in, and functioning properly each day
- Provide warm, attentive guest service with a focus on hospitality
- Work collaboratively with bakery and FOH teams
- Uphold all safety, cleanliness, and food handling standards
Requirements
- 1–2+ years specialty coffee experience (dialing-in, extraction, milk texturing, latte art)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay calm during high volume
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Experience with bakery/café service is a plus
- Availability for early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
