Job Title: Commercial Job Foreman

Department: Production (Installation)

Job Summary: Oversee and coordinate daily operations of construction crews on commercial projects, ensuring adherence to plans, schedules, safety standards, and quality requirements. Focus on crew management, onsite coordination, safety enforcement, and effective communication with stakeholders to maximize efficiency and deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership, Management, and Accountability (LMA):

• Provide clear direction and delegate tasks.
• Conduct daily huddles and weekly 1-on-1 meetings.
• Offer training and conduct quarterly performance reviews.

Onsite Coordination:

• Review project plans and specifications.
• Manage schedules, part deliveries, and materials.
• Communicate schedule changes with crews and stakeholders.

Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC):

• Ensure compliance with codes and specifications.
• Inspect for quality installation practices.

Safety Management:

• Enforce PPE use and safety protocols.
• Monitor OSHA compliance and maintain safe working conditions.

Equipment and Material Management:

• Operate and maintain equipment.
• Monitor material usage and mentor team in equipment operation.

Documentation and Communication:

• Record daily logs, testing data, photos, and timecards.
• Communicate with Project Manager and subcontractors.

Team and Workforce Oversight:

• Supervise a team of 3–6 workers.
• Participate in job site meetings and address performance issues.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Understanding of construction plans, specifications, and safety protocols.
• Skilled in operating and maintaining construction equipment.
• Effective problem-solving and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Conflict resolution skills.

Experience Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience supervising construction projects.
• Preferred experience in onsite septic installation, excavation, or sewer and water construction.
• Proficiency in project documentation software (e.g., ServiceTitan).

Reporting Structure: Reports to the Project Manager and works closely with subcontractors.
