Job Description: We are looking for creative, motivated people with the ability to work in a fast-paced and teamwork-oriented environment. You will need to be organized, have high energy, a positive attitude, basic serving skills, and be communicative. You will report to the General Manager with a dotted line to the Front of the House Managers. This position requires nights and weekends each month.
Requirements:
- Be able to be on your feet for 4-10 hours
- Knowledge of service standards
- Be able to lift and carry 10-20 lbs.
- Be hospitality driven
- Anticipate guests' needs
- Be willing to ask questions
- Wear company-provided uniform
- Proactively complete tasks
- Cross-train between Front of House positions
- Perform other duties as assigned
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner
- Monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow
- Estimate wait times for guests and seating guests
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
- Perform opening and closing duties as needed
- Refill beverages at tables
- Help deliver food to tables and distribute food to proper seat positions
- Pre-bus tables, clear and clean tables after guests leave the restaurant
- Take full garbage cans to the dumpsters and empty trash into the dumpsters
- Assist others with side work including, but not limited to, cleaning, stocking, etc.
- Sanitize menus
