Brand Manager

SUMMARY OF JOB  The Brand Manager (BM) will oversee and execute on all aspects of maintaining and growing the Otaku Ramen brand that lead to sales. Creating the foundation we use to communicate with our customers and ensuring the brand voice is strong are the main responsibilities of the BM. This position ensures that the brand resonates with customers and reports to the CEO Sarah Gavigan, and Director of Operations Tod Michael.

MARKETING BUDGET & TECH STACK manage the year to year budget for the department based on approval from SG 

  • manage all programs that power our marketing and online presence
  • work within the confines of the yearly budget

MENU PRODUCTION manage and produce seasonal menu changes both internally and externally

  • Manage and produce all aspects of menu changes each season
  • Coordinate assets with outside vendors
  • Summer Series; manage and produce all marketing aspects of SS


  • TIK TOK ideate, shoot and be the face of the TT feed
  • IG ideate, manage yearly brand shoot, schedule and engage
  • Content filing - Upload and manage the content database for internal and external use (AIR)
  • Oversee ideation and content shoots  through Planoly / Sprout and weekly meetings 
  • Working with our creative agency to deliver on Brand campaigns


  • Execute approved campaigns to specification
  • Engage and manage the consistency of the brand voice and community spirit across all platforms
  • Run monthly giveaways to engage our audience
  • 2-3% engagement rate month over month on all platforms
  • 6-8% IG user growth month over month


  • Our customer list is very valuable, the BM is responsible for growing and maintaining the database with segmentation that allows for us to talk to our customers based on the level of engagement with the brand
  • Design and maintain audience segmentation and targeting.
  • Grow TEXT ME database 20% month over month

STRATEGY execute defined strategy for the company through marketing and advertising modalities and vendors

  • yearly and project based strategies will vary, creation and execution
  • budget creation and management for department due and reviewed quarterly
  • Create campaigns that help reach division goals (see below) and solve existing issues within the company (jobs, reviews, etc)
  • Measure and report results of strategy and report back to CEO monthly / quarterly / annually
