Cheat's Cheesesteaks is currently hiring for Shift Leads and Key Holders. This position would be a perfect fit for someone who is familiar in a Kitchen or Back of House Environment, who loves customer interaction, is a great problem solver and has excellent leadership qualities.

The Shift Lead/Key Holder position requires FULL knowledge and proficiency in each of our back of house positions. The Shift Lead will directly support our employees and provide exceptional customer service to our guests while exampling leadership, communication and hospitality skills.

Main Responsibilities of a Store Manager

  • Responsible for opening and closing the restaurant
  • Responsible for leading staff into and through a successful shift
  • Responsible for upholding the expectations of store managers
  • Responsible for making sure that the store is always clean and properly organized
  • Responsible for controlling guest experience
  • Responsible for providing great hospitality among both staff and guests alike

Store Manager Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with remarkable hospitality skills, to assist our store managers in running a store effectively and with attention to detail.

Our store manager candidates are required to be in constant contact with the staff and customers. They need to be able to ensure their staff provides the highest quality customer services and monitor the overall financial performance of the store.

The responsibilities of a store manager are to greet the staff and customers, provide them with what they need, give intelligent recommendations and suggestions, build customer and brand trust, assist the staff with anything they need and make sure the customers have a great shopping experience.

More importantly, a perfect store manager candidate should be reliable, accommodating, courteous, and friendly to ensure that the customers are fully satisfied.

Responsibilities of a Shift Lead/Key Holder

  • Opening and (or) Closing the store
  • Supervising staff
  • Handling customer complaints and queries
  • Upholding a Positive Attitude at ALL times
  • Communicating with the staff

  • Knowing how to work each station in the restaurant - providing help to each station when/where needed
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations

  • Liaising with management and filling in for Management when necessary.
