Prep-Cook - City Pork Jefferson

Rate of pay$11.50 - $13.50 per hour

City Group Hospitality is a lively culinary atmosphere and is looking for someone to work within a close-knit team at our flagship location : City Pork Brasserie. We emphasize creating an environment that welcomes everyone and maintains a high standard for food and people. We are now accepting applications for an experienced and hardworking Prep Cook. Growth and personal advancement encouraged towards culinary goals to grow into a line cook, Sous Chef or Executive Chef position within the company. Individuals who apply must submit a current resume and should have the following skills and attributes:

· A passion for food including a desire to continue education to build new menu items when requested and a love of cooking.

· A Can Do Attitude

· Culture creator that supports and teaches as well as leading by example

· Open Availability, Ability to work late nights, Ability to work 10+ hour shifts

· A “YES” is the answer mentality..including motivation to be the best

· A drive for achieving goals and working as a member of a team

· Proficient knowledge in and an understanding of the ordering process

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining quality and speed of food services

· Cleanliness and hygiene

· Able to cross-train and work efficiently in different departments

· Knowledge of food handling

Job Type: Full-time / Part-Time

$11.50 - $13.50 per Hour

Applicants will also be expected to be able to work on their feet for several hours at a time and lift potentially heavy objects when necessary. Prior experience is preferred, but not necessary.
