Coupa Cafe is hiring a cafe shift leader who is responsible for the overall success of the cafe during your shift by adhering to the Coupa Cafe culture and guidelines, the Health Department’s regulations, and the cafe’s standards and expectations of food quality, freshness, and presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 8-16 employees during your shift
- Place orders with vendors and inventory
- Assists with store opening and closing activities as well as create checklists in these areas.
- Ensures compliance with proper sanitation and health department standards.
- Meets and exceeds the expectations of our positive customer experience, food service, and Visual Merchandising.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 1+ years as a cafe or restaurant shift leader or supervisor
- Capable of latte art and being an excellent barista.
- Bilingual: English and Spanish
- Excellent judgment, problem-solving and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Good computer skills (google docs, spreadsheets, e-mail)
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, rapidly-evolving workplace
- Ability to think quickly on your feet, maintain grace under pressure, and operate independently in managing workloads & business partner needs
- Must love the Food & Beverage industry
