Role Overview
The Operations Coordinator is a key support role focused on keeping our kitchen operations running smoothly and efficiently. This person will work closely with the Back-of-House leadership team to ensure consistency, organization, and communication across shifts — supporting an excellent guest experience through operational excellence.
Bilingual English/Spanish is required to communicate effectively with the kitchen team and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and support daily kitchen operations and systems
- Maintain back-of-house organization (walk-ins, dry storage, smallwares)
- Assist with truck orders, inventory counts, and waste tracking
- Ensure food safety procedures and checklists are completed accurately
- Communicate clearly between shifts and help resolve operational issues
- Partner with BOH leaders to support training and cross-training initiatives
- Translate key kitchen communications for Spanish-speaking team members
- Identify opportunities to improve systems and efficiency
Compensation & Benefits
$24/hour
Annual pay ≈ $59,280 (based on a 45-hour work week with overtime pay)
Total compensation value ≈ $64,000/year (including health, dental, vision, and free meals)
Who We’re Looking For
- Bilingual: Fluent in English & Spanish (written and verbal)
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations (restaurant experience preferred)
- Organized, proactive, and dependable
- Excellent communicator with strong problem-solving skills
- Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
- Team player who supports both leadership and crew
