Bossy Beulah’s Assistant Store Operator will be responsible for, and in control of, the business whenever the Store Operator is out of the building. You will be responsible for the success of the total business operation to include amazing customer service, financial management, cost controls, training and development of staff and managers and maintaining all specs, recipes, policies and standards. This position is very “hands on” and you will need to be functional in all positions and aspects of the business.

Main Responsibilities of an Assistant Store Operator:
-Daily direct supervision of all staff and on-going coaching throughout the shift to ensure all specs, standards and policies are being upheld.
-You love your job and it shows, you are happy, energetic and your enthusiasm is contagious.
-Hiring, on-boarding and training and discipline and documentation of staff.
-Interacting with guests to ensure great service and hospitality. Lead by example.
-Ensure all menu items are prepared hot, fresh and to recipe.
-Manage food, labor and supply costs. Has P&L awareness and responsibility for these cost centers.
-Does weekly inventory to ensure accuracy and proper product levels.
-Analyze current and future staffing needs to grow the business.
-Write and manage labor schedules with oversight from Store Operator.
-Provide clear feedback through praise, coaching and counseling. Effective at listening to staff to address quickly address concerns.
-Maintain Health Department standards and impeccably clean kitchen and dining areas.
-Take responsibility for any necessary in store guest recovery.
-Execute in house and off-site catering events to facilitate growing the brand.
-Maintain a professional image at all times.
-Solves problems and removes obstacles to successful daily operation.
The right candidate for this job has the following:
-Past experience producing and managing high quality food, following recipes and adhering to non-negotiable standards.
-At least 3 years experience working in food service in a fast paced, high quality food environment.
-At least 1 year experience in a leadership position. (AGM experience preferred but not required.)
-Proficient with computers and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Proven past record of advancement, promotion and job stability.
-Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
-Flexible work schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays.
-5 day, 48-52 hour work week.
