As a highly skilled Restaurant Marketing Director, you will play a crucial role in driving our marketing and catering initiatives and enhancing our brand presence. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and execute marketing campaigns.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources effectively.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
- Manage and implement catering program.
Common In-Restaurant Responsibilities:
- Create a Marketing Plan: Work with your Operator to determine a marketing plan for your Restaurant.
- Plan and implement In-Restaurant Events: Visit The Studio (Chick-fil-A’s website for all things marketing) for local marketing activation event ideas and tools. Leverage Chick-fil-A App software to schedule events, treats, and emails to your customers.
- Leverage Social Media: Publish pre-approved social media posts through Social Media Publisher. Learn how to gain access to this great source of images and "fill-in-the-blank" content, and engage with your customers through multiple social media platforms.
- Work with and encourage Team Members to personalize the customer's order.
- Ensure the Restaurant is on brand. Develop and submit custom materials, such as community board posters or in-Restaurant displays, to Custom Creative for approval. Templates are available on The Studio.
- Keep POP (Point of Purchase) updated.
- Clearly communicate upcoming events, seasonal changes, and new roll outs to leadership and staff.
- Sampling menu items from our classic menu items to our seasonal and new upcoming menu items.
Common In-Community Responsibilities:
- Form a giving strategy and process with your Operator for handling donation requests.
- Ensure the Chick-fil-A Cow mascot is present in the community on a regular basis.
- Implement school programs, such as fundraising programs and spirit nights. Find school-wide event and fundraising ideas on Center Stage.
- Plan Food Distributions: Distribute free product samples to customers away from the Restaurant.
Catering Responsibilities:
- Identifying catering opportunities and following up on potential catering guests through phone calls and visits.
- Leveraging established corporate partnerships and relationships to drive catering sales.
- Making sales and securing agreements with catering customers.
- Confirming orders on the day of the event.
- Coordinate catering sales and deliveries with the kitchen.
- Deliver a remarkable pickup and/or delivery guest experience to community and customer events.
- Following up with guests for feedback and to inquire about their recent experience.
- Adding value to catered events by providing a Cow mascot appearance, offering the Chick-fil-A tent for outdoor special events, and decorating with Mini Plush Cows and branded mints.
- Managing the database of catering customers.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in marketing, advertising, public relations, event planning, or catering.
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- High School or GED diploma preferred.
