We have a great team environment. Some of our employees are from Jamacia, Puerto Rico, Peru, Columbia, Albania, and Thailand, to name a few. Some have been here for over 20 years, with one here for over 35 years.
What are the perks and benefits of working at Fireside Inn Portland? We host bi-monthly lunches or dinners. When our international employees are here, we all make a different lunch so we can try meals from other locations around the world. We have employee room rates starting at 19 dollars at almost all of the hotels. Great health insurance starts after 90 days.
What does career growth look like at Fireside Inn Portland? Work hard and advancement will find you! Our housekeeping manager started as a housekeeper, then a laundry attendant, next was room inspections, to assistant housekeeping manager, and now Executive Housekeeper, she oversees 25-30 people during the summer. Our Front Desk Manager started as a desk clerk and moved to night auditor, she quickly became Front Desk Supervisor and was recently promoted to FDM.
