The Skinny Pancake is hiring seasonal staff for the Church St Cart!

Rate of pay: $15 per hour guarantee plus tips! Average rate pay $19-20/hr.

The Skinny Pancake is hiring seasonal staff for our Church St Cart! You’ll learn the ins and outs of operating a mobile kitchen and enjoy the benefits of working in the fresh air right on Church St!


The Skinny Pancake is on a mission to change the world by building a safer, healthier and more delicious food  shed while creating everyday enjoyment that is fun and affordable. Our #1 goal is to share the story of the Pancake while filling bellies with amazing, locally sourced crepes. We’re here to raise the vibes and feed the people - and have a lot of fun while we do it!


Work begins mid-May through October 10th.. Weekends are a must!


The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, honest, reliable, motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team. A position on the cart involves interacting with customers and preparing their crepes to orders with a smile, handling cash and credit card sales. The right person would be willing to stay late if business was booming and know when to close quickly to avoid a summer storm.



Please note: job responsibilities begin and end daily at our commissary kitchen in Winooski, where the cart and product are stored. A valid driver’s license is a requirement for this position.

Minimum Qualifications include:

  • Valid driver’s license 
  • Experience hitching, driving and parking a vehicle with a small trailer is preferred but not required 
  • Basic mathematical skills with ability to make change quickly, accurately, and consistently
  • ServSafe or other food safety certification is preferred but not required
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
