We are preparing for payroll peak season in Q4 and leaning into that! For 2H 25, we are aligned as a company on our OKR to be –
Deliver an easy and compliant all-in-one Payroll and HR platform for multi-location restaurants (<1,000 employees) to manage payroll, HR, benefits, hiring, time & scheduling, accelerated by AI.
- Focus on multi-location restaurants (we want to double down our vertical that works the best for our product)
- 6 product suites: Payroll, HR, Benefits, Hiring, T&S, Voice AI
- Deliver delightful product and customer experience that is easy and compliant
- We were focusing on <500 employees in past 12 months, we are moving up-market now to focus on <1,000 employees multi-location restaurants
Also, we also launched new products including Voice AI and Talent Network this past quarter.
Here’s some highlights:
- We have now went from $100K ARR for payroll AIO in Jan '24 to $2M ARR in ~16 months
- Our deal size for payroll AIO have increased from $6.7K ACV in 1H 24 ---> $8.1K ACV in 1H 25, a 21% increase
- Our close rates for payroll AIO deals have increased from 15% in 1H 24 ---> 33% close rate in 1H 25, which means ~1 in 3 deals closes now from SQO to closed deal
- We consistently closed more payroll AIO deals each month in '25 compared to '24
- As we build up towards Q3, we are getting closer and closer to peak season for payroll where in '24, ~50% of our payroll revenue was closed in Oct-Jan which is the peak season for payroll deals!
- We are attaching more and more multi-products in our deals beyond payroll including voice AI, time & scheduling, benefits admin platform and more!

We are having our annual customer conference, On the Clock at San Jose @ Hayes Mansion on Sep 10-11 – we are excited to have many top customers and investors join us including Firehouse Subs former Chairman, Inspire Brands CCO, VF Corp (North Face, Vans) CEO, and more join us!
As of now, we have close to 100 restaurant customers who have signed up (over 3X growth from last year’s conference) and expect over 150-200 attendees for the conference across partners, customers and more!

- We continue to see strong demand for our AIO platform, helping us to achieve our 2025 company objective of $5M in Payroll AIO ARR
- In H1 2025, we have more than doubled our payroll win rate from 15% to 33%, driven by from not only sales, but also an enhanced product offering from Engineering, targeted messaging from Marketing, advocacy from Support/CS, and more
- Our average deal size also increased YoY in H1 2025 due to additional offerings such as Ben Admin, ACA, and Time & Shift
- Voice AI acts as an extra member of the hiring team and facilitates the hiring process for everyone involved
- The breakthrough technology reduces time to hire by 60% by owning routine tasks such as screening applicants, re-scheduling interviews, answering questions, and more
- Since launch, Voice AI has reduced interview no-show rate by 44% and increased applicant closure rate (hired or rejected) to 59% (from 44%) by helping customers make more informed decisions about candidates
- Talent Network represents the second of our new AI-enhanced products and further increases the value proposition of our AIO platform
- Using AI-driven job-fit scores, smart tags, and bulk messaging, the improved Talent Network allows customers to make better hires 5x faster and re-discover and re-engage qualified past applicants and employees
- This also allows customers to cut job board costs by more than half since they no longer need to pay for job board ads

For customers with Payroll, our NRR is ~130%, GRR ~90%, GLR ~92%, and we will continue to focus on our strategy to lean into payroll but we are sharing our overall company metrics too below. We expect as payroll to increase and grow, our overall company metrics will continue to improve too.
