Job Title: Dumpster Delivery Expert
Job Description: Pick up and deliver 4-yard to 20-yard roll-off dumpsters for residential and commercial projects. Utilize company software for processing pickups and deliveries. Complete truck inspection reports. This is a hands-on, physical job — you’ll need to climb onto dumpsters to tarp and untarp them, and work outdoors in all weather conditions, including rain and winter.
Terms of Employment: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays).
Location: Fitchburg, MA. Servicing all Central Massachusetts area - 130+ cities and towns.
Licensing/Certification: Valid Driver’s License. DOT Card.
Uniform: Black or dark gray pants, steel-toed safety boots. Company shirts provided.
Vehicle: Company truck provided for pickups and deliveries. Dodge RAM 5500 & Freightliner M2 with air brakes.
Qualifications:
Must be 25 years of age or older.
Professional attitude and appearance.
Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Clean driving record.
Must have a working cellphone.
Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job (lifting, climbing, bending, etc).
Good understanding of local areas and neighborhoods.
Some commercial vehicle operation experience preferred, but not required.
Specific Skills:
Operate and drive lift trucks to transport dumpsters (Dodge RAM 5500 & Freightliner M2 with air brakes).
Tarp and untarp dumpsters to ensure safety and security of loads.
Travel using GPS.
Communicate with Operations Manager/Dispatcher.
Inspect vehicle condition (tires, lights, brakes, fluids, etc).
Monitor vehicle performance and perform minor preventative maintenance.
Additional Skills:
Superior customer service. Experience in the construction industry is an asset.
