Mama’s Java Cafe isn’t just a coffee shop — we’re a family. Since opening our doors in 2010, we’ve been serving up fresh, made-to-order breakfast and lunch, air-roasted coffee (roasted right here in-house), and a whole lot of Southern hospitality. The Role
We’re looking for a reliable, upbeat Line Cook who loves working in a fast-paced but friendly kitchen. You’ll prepare fresh dishes to order, keep things organized and clean, and help lead by example — especially for our younger staff.
What You’ll Do
- Cook made-to-order breakfast & lunch (no fryers — just fresh!)
- Work with the team to handle dine-in, drive-thru, and online orders
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen
- Help manage prep, inventory, and ingredient freshness
- Pitch in wherever needed to keep things running smoothly

What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a café or breakfast/lunch kitchen is a plus
- Solid time management & communication skills
- Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Early riser who enjoys having afternoons free
- Rate of pay is $15/hr during training; higher pay available after training for candidates with prior cooking experience
