Compensation:

A Day at Metal Supermarkets:
- Plan the day with the team to ensure prompt service for all client requests
- Provide metal solutions over the phone and in person. Most sales are completed on the first call over the phone.
- Conduct guided warehouse tours and assist customers with material selection.
- Process orders with our equipment. Optionally - operate forklifts, saws, shears and trucks. Ensure your customers are taken care of quickly and they will come back to you for their next metal project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to order requests, quotes, and delivery follow-ups
- Our phone rings all day! Listen to clients, create quotes, make sales and solve metal problems. We are not a cold call business. Our clients come to us.
- Build trust with customers through open communication
- Identify sales leads and develop new customer relationships
- Support sales targets, manage stock control, and gross margins
- Assist in drop piece management and organization
- Fulfill orders, cut metal and ensure jobs are completed on time.
- Maintain efficiency in measurement, adherence to process and business fundamentals.
- Effectively manage tasks and time throughout the day
Qualifications:
- Prior Sales and Customer Service experience
- Proficiency in computer skills and Point of Sale software
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Strong math skills and time management abilities
- Experience with tape measures, basic math, fractions, decimals and tools.
