What You'll Be Doing: A Day in the Life
As a Machine Operator, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring our customers get exactly what they need, safely and efficiently. Each morning, we kick off the day with a team plan, ensuring every client request is handled promptly. You'll play a highly independent yet crucial role in inventory management and order fulfillment, focusing on picking, cutting, and processing customer orders all the way through delivery. Your success will hinge on your task/time management, ambition, accuracy and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift in our indoor warehouse (experience is a plus!).
- Precision metal cutting using a hydraulic shear, cold saw, and fully automatic robotic band saw.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse by assisting with stock control, receiving, and inventory processing.
- Respond promptly to all order requests, ensuring timely fulfillment.
- Safely operate the company's 21' flatbed* for order deliveries (a Louisiana Class D license is required for employment, and flatbed experience is a bonus!).
- Build strong relationships and trust with customers through clear and engaging communication.
- Contribute to facility maintenance and various labor projects that support our organization.
What We're Looking For:
Do you have experience with...
- Fabrication, carpentry, metalwork, using power tools, equipment, and measuring devices?
- Operating forklifts, CNC machines, or flatbed trucks?
- Working with fractions, multiplication, and division?
- Creatively solving physical problems – cutting, shaping, and creating solutions from raw materials?
Do you enjoy...

Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Ability to regularly lift 60 pounds unassisted.
- A strong aptitude for safety and situational awareness
- A Louisiana Class D Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Proficiency in using tape measures to the 1/16th, decimals, fractions, and basic math.
- A focus on efficiency, personal productivity, and self-study.
- Effective in-person and phone communication and listening skills.
- Fluent in written and spoken English (bilingual is a bonus!).
