The Dining Room Host is responsible for creating a clean, welcoming, and exceptional dining experience for guests. This role focuses on hospitality, cleanliness, guest engagement, and ensuring the dining room reflects Chick-fil-A’s standards of excellence. Dining Room Hosts serve as ambassadors of hospitality by interacting with guests, assisting with dining room needs, and maintaining a positive atmosphere.
This is a flexible, part-time position designed around our busiest meal periods. We are specifically looking for team members who are available to support our lunch rush from approximately 11:00 AM–2:00 PM and/or our dinner rush from 5:00 PM–8:00 PM. This can be a great opportunity for someone looking for shorter, consistent shifts that fit around other commitments.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, restrooms, patio, and beverage station
- Deliver outstanding customer service and hospitality to all guests
- Assist guests with seating, tray carrying, refills, and special requests when needed
- Monitor dining room traffic and ensure tables are cleaned promptly
- Stock dining room supplies including napkins, condiments, straws, lids, and beverages
- Sweep, mop, and sanitize dining areas throughout the shift
- Respond quickly to guest concerns and communicate issues to leadership when necessary
- Support team members in Front of House operations during busy periods
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed
- Create a warm, family-friendly environment for every guest
- Assist with opening and closing dining room duties
- Cleaning the restrooms
Requirements

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds when stocking or cleaning
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Prior customer service or restaurant experience preferred, but not required

- Day shift 11am-2pm
- Night shift 5pm-8pm
