Position Overview:
Ghost Isle Brewery is seeking a motivated and hands-on Floor Manager to help lead our front of house operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, and is passionate about delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily front of house operations to ensure guests receive prompt, friendly, and attentive service
- Step into various roles as needed (server, host, bar support) to keep service running smoothly
- Maintain high standards for food and beverage quality before items reach guests
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and host staff to ensure efficient service flow
- Address guest concerns professionally and create positive interactions that drive repeat business
- Train and support team members across multiple positions
- Enforce proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures in compliance with local regulations
- Assist in scheduling and ensure proper staffing levels during shifts
- Oversee opening and closing procedures, including daily server checkouts
- Monitor overall presentation, cleanliness, and service standards throughout the shift
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and fire regulations
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed with a positive, team-first attitude
