Join our Leadership Development Program at Chick-fil-A NorthPark Center, where you will embark on a transformative journey to become a future leader in our organization with the end goal of Becoming a Chick-fil-A Franchisee or member of the Chick-fil-A Support Center. The aim is to equip leaders with the skills to be able to thrive within Chick-fil-A Inc’s Leadership Development Program. 


Qualifications

Required

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing one).
  • Demonstrated leadership potential.
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Preferred

  • Previous leadership experience in hospitality, retail, or customer service.
  • Experience coaching or training others.

Program Overview:

Month 1: Back-of-House Team Member

  • Learn the fundamentals of our kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety procedures.
  • Work alongside experienced team members to ensure efficient and high-quality food production.
  • Gain an understanding of inventory management and kitchen organization.

Month 2: Back-of-House Team Leader

  • Take on leadership responsibilities in the kitchen, overseeing daily operations and ensuring smooth workflow.
  • Train and mentor back-of-house team members, providing guidance on best practices and performance expectations.
  • Collaborate with management to optimize kitchen efficiency and food quality standards.

Month 3: Front-of-House Team Member (2 Weeks) 

  • Transition to the front-of-house and focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Learn the art of hospitality by greeting and assisting guests, taking orders, and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment.
  • Receive training in cash handling procedures and POS systems.

Month 3.5- 4.5: Front-of-House Team Leader

  • Assume leadership of the front-of-house team, managing customer service initiatives and guest satisfaction.
  • Implement strategies to enhance the dining experience, such as table service improvements and staff training programs.
  • Address guest concerns and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.

Months 5-10: Director of Talent and Engagement

  • Lead initiatives in hiring, training, and leadership development.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance service standards and foster a positive work environment.
  • Analyze customer feedback and operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions. 


Months 11-24: Director of Operations

  • Take on a strategic leadership role overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations.
  • Drive business growth and profitability through effective resource management and operational excellence.
  • Develop and execute long-term strategic plans to achieve organizational goals and drive continuous improvement.

Goals/Outcomes

  • Participant would be able to fully run the restaurant on their own
  • Participant would drive exceptional results to add to his LDP/operator candidacy.
  • Example:
  • Maintaining  profitability goal set by the Operator
  • Customer Satisfaction in the top 20% of the chain
  • Exceptional Food Safety (Score of 1) 
  • Participant would work in such a way that they would be able to apply to Chick-fil-A Inc.’s  LDP during the 22-24 month marks.

  • 10 hour shift
  • Weekend availability
  • Monday to Friday
