We are hiring a fast and reliable Busser / Food Runner for a quick-service / takeout-focused restaurant. This position supports food running, cleaning, and daily operations in both front and back areas. Ideal for someone who works efficiently, stays organized, and can assist guests when needed.
Responsibilities
- Run food from the kitchen to the front counter or directly to guests
- Pack and organize food orders when needed
- Keep the front-of-house area clean and organized
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and back-of-house areas
- Clear and clean tables promptly
- Wash, organize, and store plates, bowls, and utensils
- Assist guests with basic needs or requests
- Support the kitchen staff by handling food and dishware with proper food handling procedures.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Support daily restaurant operations as assigned
- Assist with setting up dining areas for special events or catering functions as needed.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring guests feel welcomed and attended to throughout their visit.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Reliable, efficient, and punctual
- Comfortable communicating with guests
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Flexible availability, including weekends
