Host

Hosts are responsible for greeting guests, taking reservations, providing accurate wait times, and escorting guests to the dining and bar areas. Additional duties include: providing friendly customer service, answering guest questions, accommodating seating requests, and communicating with the server staff. Hosts must also report guest problems or issues to a supervisor as observed.

Wages:

Hourly Wage: $15.00 per hour

Eligible for Tips: No

Bonus: Hosts are eligible for a work performance-based bonus of up to $1.00 for every hour worked during the Season through Sunday, October 13; must work a minimum of 200 hours in total. The associate must work until the date of commitment agreed to at the interview.

Qualifications & Duties:        

• Must be organized.       
• Must be an effective communicator.
• Must be an enthusiastic individual with a courteous and positive attitude.
• Must be able to work in a fast environment.
• Timeliness is required as well as grooming standards.
• Availability to work weekends, especially during the summer season.
• Must be able to stand, stoop, or stretch for long periods of time.
• Ability to take and follow directions from the restaurant management team.
