Starbucks - Customer Service Ambassador (Starbucks OSU) $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
Seeking a motivated, reliable Customer Service Ambassador to spearhead an
enjoyable connection between the Starbucks brand and customers. Our ideal candidate
will be creative, detail oriented, able to multitask in high-paced environments,
personable, friendly, enthusiastic, people driven, and must possess stellar customer
service skills. We are seeking candidates who can learn quickly and create
opportunities for brand awareness.
The Starbucks Customer Service Ambassador is responsible for modeling and acting in
accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.
What does a Starbucks Customer Service Ambassador Do?
The Starbucks Customer Service Ambassador is responsible for creating and
implementing marketing initiatives that will increase customer visits and customer
enjoyment.
Starbucks Customer Service Ambassadors have a customer first mindset and are
passionate about providing a personalized and inspiring experience to drive brand
awareness and meet sales goals. Success is achieved by being a team player who is
curious, resourceful, and exemplifies inclusivity through customer service channels. The
Customer Service Ambassador is required to regularly and customarily exercise
discretion in managing the overall operation of customer relations and outreach.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
Essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
● Creating and setting marketing goals
● Demonstrates a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events
● Manages smooth transitions to keep the store operating to standard
● Set a positive example for the store team.
● Displays a customer comes first attitude
● Master the implementation of marketing programs by developing action plans to
drive customers to the store location.
● Manages with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values,
and mission of the Starbucks Brand.
Summary of Experience
● Experience in a direct marketing role 1-2 years preferred
● Customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment 1 year
● Demonstrated experience at building campus-community relationships
● Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
● Ability to manage marketing events independently
● Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment
● Ability to manage multiple situations simultaneously
● Ability to manage resources to ensure that established service levels are
achieved at all times
● Interpersonal skills
● Knowledge of customer service techniques
● Organization and event planning skills
● Strong operational skills in a customer-service and outreach environment
● Strong problem-solving skills
● Team-building skills
● Some education is required preferably customer relations and/or marketing
