Chick-fil-A Ponce & Boulevard is seeking a motivated and dependable AM Back of House (BOH) Shift Lead to support our morning operations and set the tone for a successful day. As an AM Shift Lead, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring our team delivers high-quality food with speed, accuracy, and care.
Pay Range: $18.00 – $19.00 per hour
Shift Availability: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM (full availability for morning shifts required)
Responsibilities
- Lead BOH team members during morning shifts to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Oversee breakfast and lunch transitions while maintaining product quality and speed
- Model and maintain Chick-fil-A’s high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Support, coach, and develop team members to maximize performance and teamwork
- Monitor food preparation, holding times, and kitchen flow to meet demand
- Communicate clearly with the Front of House (FOH) team to ensure timely and accurate service
- Assist with opening procedures, including prep, equipment checks, and kitchen readiness
- Uphold and enforce safety and sanitation standards in compliance with Chick-fil-A policies
Qualifications
- Prior kitchen or food service leadership experience preferred
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Early morning availability required (including some weekends)
- ServSafe Certification preferred, but not required
