Director of Operations

Chick-fil-A Ponce & Boulevard is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Operations to lead restaurant operations with excellence, accountability, and vision. This leader will oversee daily operations, develop leadership teams, drive operational performance, and ensure an exceptional experience for both guests and team members. The Director of Operations plays a critical role in maintaining Chick-fil-A standards while building a culture focused on growth, teamwork, and operational excellence.


Pay Range: Competitive salary based on experience

Position Type: Full-Time

Availability: Open availability required, including mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) operations to ensure operational excellence
  • Lead, coach, and develop Shift Leads and Department Leaders
  • Drive performance in key operational areas including speed of service, food safety, labor, cleanliness, and guest experience
  • Ensure Chick-fil-A standards are consistently executed across all dayparts
  • Monitor restaurant metrics and create action plans to improve operational performance
  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, and leadership development initiatives
  • Hold leaders and team members accountable to policies, procedures, and performance expectations
  • Partner with the Operator and Senior Leadership Team to execute restaurant goals and strategies
  • Maintain a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment
  • Ensure restaurant readiness through effective staffing, positioning, and shift execution
  • Oversee food safety compliance, Safe Daily Criticals, and overall restaurant cleanliness

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership or operations management experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Proven ability to coach and develop leaders and team members
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Results-driven with a high level of accountability and ownership
  • Experience managing operational systems, labor, and restaurant performance metrics preferred
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as needed
  • ServSafe Certification preferred, but not required
