Job Description:

Kickstart your career in vehicle repair with

Priority Auto Repair as an Automotive Technician Apprentice! Our shop is

dedicated to providing high-quality repair and maintenance services to our

customers, and we're looking for an apprentice who is eager to learn and grow

with us.

As an Automotive Technician Apprentice,

you'll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced technicians and learn

how to repair and recondition vehicles to the highest standards. You'll gain

hands-on experience in a variety of areas, including engine repair, steering and

suspension adjustment, heating and air conditioning system fixes, and much

more.

 Responsibilities:

●     Assist experienced technicians in performing vehicle inspections,

diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.

●     Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using diagnostic

tools and equipment.

●     Perform basic repairs, such as replacing brakes, spark plugs, and

filters.

●     Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all company

policies and procedures.

●     Follow all safety guidelines and regulations when working with tools

and equipment.

●     Communicate effectively with customers and team members.

●     Learn about different vehicle systems, including engines,

transmissions, steering and suspension, brakes, and electrical systems.

●     Assist in maintaining inventory levels of parts and supplies.

●    Contribute to the overall success of the shop by providing excellent customer service and quality

workmanship.

●    Embrace opportunities for continuous learning and skill development through on-the-job

training and educational resources.

These responsibilities are not exhaustive and may vary depending on the

specific needs of Priority Auto Repair. However, they provide a general idea of

the types of tasks and duties that an Automotive Technician Apprentice may be

expected to perform.

Requirements:

●    A strong interest in automotive technology and repair

●    Basic understanding of vehicle systems and components.(PLUS)

●    Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team

●   Enthusiasm for the automotive industry and a desire to pursue a career as an auto technician.

●    

Must be physically

capable of lifting heavy objects and performing tasks in a workshop

environment.

●    Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

●     High school diploma or equivalent

●     Valid driver's license
