We’re looking for a people-focused marketing professional to elevate our brand, support customer engagement and business development, and help us execute standout events. This hybrid role blends creative marketing duties with customer interaction, both in-store and out in the community, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment. The role requires strong communication skills, creative thinking, and the ability to shift between marketing tasks and customer-facing responsibilities as needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Marketing Execution
- Develop, schedule, and publish social media content
- Create graphics, flyers, and promotional materials
- Assist with product launches, and brand initiatives
- Work closely with Best Stop Corporate to maintain brand consistency across visual and written communications
Event Planning & Execution
- Assist with planning, coordinating, and staffing events
- Support event logistics, setup, content capture, and post-event follow-up
- Represent the brand on-site as needed
Customer Outreach
- Call or visit potential and existing customers to promote products and offerings
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners and repeat customers
In-Store Customer Experience
- Provide guest assistance and hospitality during peak traffic times
- Support front-of-house operations as needed with a positive and service-oriented approach
Qualifications
- 1–3 years experience in marketing, events, retail, hospitality, or customer service required
- Previous proven success with growing multiple online marketing campaigns with a demonstrated concentration in social media
- Knowledge of all social media platforms is a must
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing/Journalism or a related discipline from an accredited college or university preferred
- Proficiency with Canva required, working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
- Professional, friendly, and team-oriented demeanor
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time during customer interaction or events as needed
- Light lifting for event setup/material transport on occasion
Work Environment
- Hybrid of office, retail store floor, and off-site event locations
- Must be comfortable working around food, customers, and event settings
