Hondos Steakhouse, an established, high-volume upscale steakhouse in Richmond is seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to join our leadership team. We are looking for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced, fine-dining environment and is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Position Overview:
The Restaurant Manager will oversee daily front-of-house operations while maintaining the high standards of service, hospitality, and professionalism our guests expect. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily restaurant operation
- Ensure exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns promptly
- Train, coach, and develop front-of-house staff
- Maintain high standards for service, cleanliness, and presentation
- Assist with scheduling, inventory, and labor management
- Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service
- Uphold company policies and maintain a positive work culture
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3–5 years of restaurant management experience (upscale or fine dining preferred)
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Wine and steakhouse knowledge is a plus
