Main Responsibilities:
- Unload delivery trucks and check incoming items against invoices.
- Put away food, drinks, and paper supplies in the correct coolers, freezers, and shelves.
- Rotate stock using the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) method to keep food fresh.
- Keep the stockroom, walk-in cooler, and storage areas clean and organized.
- Lift and carry heavy boxes weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Report any damaged or missing items to the manager.
Inventory Job Description:
Our culinary environment is fast-paced and we expect you to be able to work as part of a team. Your main duties will include unloading and organizing all food and supplies delivered each morning. You will be asked to assist with unloading delivery trucks, clean cooking stations, kitchen appliances, and machines, as well as potential to learn food preparation positions.
Our goal is to employ a person with excellent time management and communication skills. You should be able to prioritize tasks. You will be working in a kitchen for most of your workday. This means that you will also have to abide by food safety procedures and regulations.
Full-time and part-time positions available. Shift start time is 6:00am Mondays-Saturdays wIth flexible end times based on business needs and availability.
Responsibilities of a Inventory & BOH Team Member:
- Maintaining a clean and well-organized working environment
- Cleaning kitchen appliances and machines
- Helping other team members to unload and store deliveries
- Assist other staff members with tasks when the need arises
- Adhere to food safety procedures and regulations
- Taking out the trash
- Various cleaning tasks
- Potential to learn other kitchen positions
- Other job duties as assigned
Inventory & BOH Team Member Job Requirements:
- Must be 18 years old
- Must be able to be on your feet for entire shifts
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be available to start shifts at 6:00am
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Must know and follow all food safety procedures
- Must be able to prioritize tasks and work independently as well as part of a team
