Our Shift Leaders are responsible for executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service. A Shift Leader’s main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, being strategic with sound decision making skills to ensure operations are fast and accurate, and coaching/developing team members. Shift Leaders lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.

Shift Leader Responsibilities:
- Store operations: Supervising stations and teams, maintaining cleanliness, and stocking the restaurant
- Inventory management: Counting inventory, inputting data, and maintaining transfer logs
- Food safety: Maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards
- Cash management: Handling cash and credit cards
- Quality control: Ensuring quality throughout the restaurant
- Performance and conduct: Managing team member schedules and adhering to meal and break policy
- Safety: Promoting safe work habits
- Opening and closing: Opening and closing the restaurant according to established procedures
- Other duties: Taking orders, making drinks and desserts, and delivering meals
- Participate operationally in day-to-day activities in fast-paced restaurant
- Offer immediate and respectful response to guest's needs
- Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team
- Be a friendly, encouraging team player
- Coach team members on best practices
- Motivate others to be the best version of themselves
- Set goals and motivate and inspire the team to reach goals
- Hold those below you to high standards
- Open and/or close the restaurant
- Manage cash and computer systems for recording cash management
- Count cash drawers
