Kitchen Shift Leader

*MUST be fluent in Spanish and English and have open availability*

  • Supervise duties of Kitchen Team, including minimizing overtime, monitoring staff breaks and keeping staff productive during slow periods
  • Prioritize cleanliness
  • Assist with key human resource functions by enforcing all store policies, training new employees, and completing documentation in a timely manner (i.e. meetings, feedback for performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, etc)
  • Understand and embody the Core Values of the restaurant
  • Always performs procedures to recipe and never cuts corners
  • As necessary, call Chick-fil-A IT and troubleshoot
  • Create a culture of care and hospitality amongst the team
  • Empower and hold accountable Team Members utilizing checklists
  • Ensure completion of the Food Safety Audi a minimum of 2x day
  • Ensure completion of quality assessment 1x week for each daypart (3x total)
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment according to Health Department regulations
  • Assist with inventory and ordering as needed
  • Monitor credits and spoilage through effective organization, rotation and follow-through of product inventory
  • Ensure all products meet quality standards through proper labeling, rotation, cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene, and by only selling fresh product
  • Oversee special or large orders to ensure they are executed properly
  • Communicate concerns, suggestions, feedback and ideas to Leadership
