The Royal Tern is seeking a versatile line cook ready to grow with our kitchen team and master multiple stations in our upscale seafood-focused concept.

You thrive on variety—whether you're shucking oysters at the raw bar, perfecting vegetables on the sauté station, or working proteins on the grill. What You'll Do:
- Rotate through multiple stations including raw bar, vegetable/sauté, and grill
- Master seafood butchery, shellfish preparation, and raw bar presentation techniques
- Execute precise vegetable cookery and compose refined plated components
- Develop your grill skills with high-quality proteins and proper temperature control
- Maintain impeccably organized and sanitized stations across all areas
- Prep ingredients with consistency and attention to detail
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless service flow
- Manage station mise en place, storage, and inventory needs
What You Bring:
- Professional kitchen experience with eagerness to cross-train
- Solid knife skills and understanding of fundamental cooking methods
- Ability to work quickly and precisely under pressure
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- Willingness to learn specialized techniques (raw bar, grill mastery, refined plating)
- High school diploma required; culinary school graduates preferred
