Job Title: Catering Sales Director


Position Overview:

The Catering Sales Director for Ilforno Brands is responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic planning, client acquisition, and relationship management within the catering sector. This role oversees all aspects of catering sales operations, including generating leads, negotiating contracts, coordinating with event planning teams, and ensuring customer satisfaction. As a key leader, the Catering Sales Director will develop and execute catering sales strategies to achieve the organizational goals of Ilforno Brands, while upholding the company’s reputation for excellence in food, service, and hospitality.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy and Leadership:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive catering sales plan to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and market trends to expand the catering client base.
  • Set performance goals and monitor progress for the catering sales team.
  1. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and other key stakeholders.
  • Conduct site visits, presentations, and tastings to secure new business.
  • Negotiate contracts, ensuring profitability while meeting client expectations.
  1. Team Collaboration and Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of catering sales representatives or managers.
  • Collaborate with the culinary and operations teams to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Oversee coordination of event logistics, including menus, budgets, and timelines.
  1. Financial Oversight:
  • Monitor catering sales performance, budgets, and profitability metrics.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and analyze financial reports to identify growth opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with pricing strategies, contracts, and company policies.
  1. Marketing and Branding:
  • Work with the marketing team to promote catering services through campaigns, social media, and events.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
  • Develop promotional materials and packages tailored to client needs.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in catering sales, hospitality, or event management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of the catering and events industry, including trends and competitive landscape.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
