Seasonal Garden Center Sales (Short Term Team)

Steve's Ace Home and Garden is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Garden Center Sales team member to join our fun and loving team. If you have ever visited our stores in the spring, you know we are the go-to place to shop. This position is for (short-term) seasonal employees who want to join in the spring craziness yet still have time to work in their own gardens the rest of the summer. This is a fantastic opportunity for folks who recently retired, have other work responsibilities or simply want to share their love of gardening without a huge commitment. Although we can be flexible while hiring, these folks typically work a minimum of three 4 hour shifts each week during our peak time of mid/late April- early June. If available, work beyond this time may be an option for the right candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in finding the perfect plants and gardening supplies
- Provide excellent and enthusiastic customer service and product knowledge
- Maintain a clean and organized garden center
Requirements:
- High school degree or equivalent
- Passion for gardening and outdoor work
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work late April- Early June
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be on your feet during your shift
- Must be available to work minimum of one shift every other weekend, including Mother's Day weekend (our time to shine!)
