We are seeking a part-time skilled, reliable maintenance engineer to join our growing team, with the potential to grow into a full-time. In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of equipment and machinery. Escalating work orders when a 3rd party is required. Assisting in porter duties when it is required.
Maintenance Engineer responsibilities include conducting routine inspections, performing system updates, and implementing preventative maintenance measures. You will be well-versed in various testing methods and safety practices. Ultimately, the Maintenance Engineer will ensure that all installations, repairs, and maintenance are performed to the highest standards, enhancing the company’s overall productivity.
Responsibilities
● Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment
● Perform preventive maintenance
● Handle repairs and ensure that machinery is in good working order
● Oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary
● Diagnose mechanical issues and correct them
● Repair machines, equipment, or structures as necessary
● Follow all safety protocols and procedures
● Maintain documentation of work carried out
● Collaborate with the engineering team to develop maintenance strategies
Qualifications
● 1-3 Years of Proven experience as a maintenance engineer
● Strong understanding of general maintenance procedures
● Ability to work with hardware tools and power equipment
● Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail
● Good physical condition and aptitude in using various hand tools
