Ace Hardware - Immediate Small Engine Mechanic Needed

As a Small Engine Mechanic at Ace Hardware, you will have the opportunity to work with a loving and enthusiastic team that values community and personalized service. Job Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair small engines efficiently
- Perform routine maintenance on various small engine equipment
- Sharpen chainsaw chains and lawnmower blades.
- Provide excellent customer service and advice on small engine products
- Ensure all calls are answered promptly, courteously and effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a fun and productive work environment
- Assist with daily maintenance, orderliness and cleanliness of the shop and other work areas.
- Be professional in appearance and actions.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience and knowledge working with small gas engines and battery equipment, generally STIHL and Ego products.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Organizational skills to keep track of multiple orders and repairs.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Computer experience required
