Purpose: Provide accurate, friendly, and efficient transactions while supporting guest flow.
Core Responsibilities
- Arrive on time to your scheduled shift.
- Follow all food safety guidelines and temperature requirements.
- Follow all uniform and apron policies throughout your shift.
- Wear appropriate non-slip footwear for safety.
- Use wet floor warning signs when floors are slippery.
- Communicate with a Manager or Supervisor if any item, supply, or product is running low.
- Accurately complete and turn in all waste tracking sheets (if applicable).
- Work together as a team to deliver great food and genuine hospitality to every Guest.
- Be fully prepared to attend to Guests at the moment of opening.
Cashier–Specific Duties
- Keep the cashier area neat, clean, and organized.
- Count and record your cash bank at the start of shift; report discrepancies immediately.
- Greet Guests at the register and work efficiently during busy periods.
- Offer beverages and clarify pricing or discounts where applicable.
- Handle cash accurately; count back change clearly.
- Thank Guests sincerely after each transaction.
- Communicate with Greeters, Dining Room Attendants, and Managers when Guests need assistance.
- Answer phone calls using the provided script, if assigned.
- Perform end-of-shift reconciliation of receipts and cash.
- Support other areas of the restaurant as assigned.
