JOB SUMMARY for Server
Are you an experienced Server looking to join a successful hotel restaurant and grow your career? Prime Hospitality Group (PHG) is seeking a Server to join the AC Marriott team. This role will be responsible for maintaining positive guest interactions while providing guests the highest quality of service in a friendly and efficient manner.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES for a Breakfast Server
- Maintains professional demeanor, a clean and presentable uniform, and practices positive personal hygiene and cleanliness habits during all shifts,
- Observes guests throughout meal to anticipate needs, immediately recognizes, and responds to any guest needs or requests,
- Responsible for setting up the breakfast buffet, maintaining and restocking it throughout the shift, and properly breaking it down afterward.
- Takes orders, serve food and drinks, respond to inquiries about the menu and fulfill the wishes of the guest, as well as suggestively sell food and drinks.
- Responsible for completing all closing duties, including dishwashing, cleaning, rolling silverware, and restocking for the next shift.
JOB REQUIREMENTS for Breakfast Server
- Must maintain a valid state-required ServSafe Food Handler certification or obtain one upon hire; reimbursement provided with proof.
- Must be able to operate POS system, make change, and use credit card transactions accurately.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and listen attentively to guests, and other team members.
