Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, the Payroll & Benefits Manager is responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the payroll process and administration of company-sponsored benefits with a Demand for Excellence. This role

processes and manages the organization’s payroll salaried and hourly functions for all restaurant concept employees in multiple states, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, in compliance with government regulations as well as ownership of administrative tasks in such areas as employee records, benefits, employment, compensation, and reporting. This role also assumes responsibility for the robust and accurate administration and compliance for all company-sponsored benefit plans with an Unwavering Commitment to quality.


**THIS ROLE WILL BE IN OFFICE with FLEXIBILITY.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (Key Tasks and Responsibilities):


Would be extremely beneficial if this individual was proficient in PAYLOCITY and EXCEL, also nice if experienced with restaurants, tip sheets, and multi-state.


Demand for Excellence

Processes and manages bi-weekly payroll for all employees, including but not limited

to the processing of data, coordinating changes or updates, applicable payroll deductions, enters new hire information, processes terminations, appropriate changes to payroll or overall insurance benefits, Processes applicable court-ordered documents such as garnishments, child support orders, liens, or levies in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, Maintains all employee records within in current PHG HRIS system, ensuring process and data accuracy, ensures reporting structures and employee data is current and accurate, ensures employee confidentiality, compliance with records retention process and adherence to all federal and state regulations, Ensures compliance and administration of various employee benefit plans; including, but not limited to health, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, and voluntary products, Manages and processes all electronic benefit and 401k file feeds through the payroll process to ensure all information is processed timely and accurately, Ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations which affect employee pay and benefits, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, COBRA, ERISA, ACA and HIPPA

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

  

Bachelor’s degree preferred, Human Resources or Accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis in Human Resources/Benefits and Payroll,

      

A minimum of 5 years of payroll management and benefits administration experience,

      

Experience with one or more HR Payroll systems, including system implementations and upgrades,

   

Comprehensive working knowledge of Payroll Functions, including Payroll Administration/Taxes, Policies/Procedures, Payroll System Management and Legal Compliance including Federal/State Wage & Hour Laws, FMLA/Paid Family Leave, Health Care Reform Act, ERISA, Unemployment and Tax Laws


PREFERRED SKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS

   

Multi-state payroll, including federal and state payroll knowledge,
