A Cake Decorator at Cold Stone Creamery is responsible for preparing, decorating, and presenting ice cream cakes and desserts while providing excellent customer service.
Cake Decorator – Job Description
- Prepare and decorate ice cream cakes according to Cold Stone standards Write custom messages and create designs on cakes
- Assemble cakes using ice cream, toppings, mix-ins, and frosting
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the kitchen and display area
- Manage cake inventory and supplies
- Assist customers with cake orders and recommendations
- Handle online and custom cake orders
- Support team members during busy hours
- Follow company recipes and presentation guidelines
Required Skills / Experience
- Experience in cake decorating, baking, or food preparation preferred
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift supplies when needed
- Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
