Job Summary:
The Dockmaster
is responsible for several areas of the marina operations and all slip activity
under the direction of the General Manager. This role will serve as the
ambassador for the marina and is the first person with whom a Boater/Guest will
interact. The Dockmaster is responsible for the safe mooring of vessels,
general operation of the docks, assisting boaters and responding to general
questions, supporting front desk operations and maintaining a safe and clean
environment throughout the marina facilities. In addition , he/she serves as
part of the leadership team and helps with training and supervision.

trained to perform a variety of tasks across our Marina operations. Being
flexible and open to “pitching in” is an essential function of being part of
the team! Most marina team members are multi-functional and perform many varied
tasks. Especially during
emergencies, (storms, floods, etc.) or peak boating times, team members will be
called upon to work together and perform functions that may be in addition to
their normal job duties. “That’s not my Job”, is not within our Marina
operations vocabulary. The more well-rounded
the team member, the more opportunities to grow and be considered for future
opportunities!
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· Assists in supervising and
training team members
· Hold team members
accountable by providing appropriate coaching.
· Escalates issues to the
General Manager on concerns with team member’s performance or concerns.
Roles & Responsibilities:
·
Routinely inspects, conducts walk throughs and ensures above average appearance of facility.
·
Assist the General Manager in creating a daily
checklist of tasks and assign to team members appropriately and/or may take on
the tasks to ensure that the Marina is in Best in Class shape.
·
Provides support, setup and maintenance of all wet slip account files using Molo
/POS system.
·
Provides appropriate assistance to customers, vendors, officials and team
members
·
Communicates with boaters and potential leads and guests in a professional manner at all times. Resolves customer disputes in a manner consistent with Integra
Marina’s philosophy and policy. Refers all disputes outside scope of abilities to the
General Manager.

Perform administrative/frontdesk duties (i.e., Molo
reservations , guest inquiries, billing , answering calls, etc.).
·
Direct, move, assist and securely moor vessels
to dock
·
Ensures that Boaters and Team Members observe
all marina rules and regulations
·
Ability to work weekends and holidays
·
Ability to work overtime as needed
Safety and
Environmental Responsibilities
- Follow Integra Marinas Safety and Environmental rules and complete required related training
- Wear proper personal protective equipment (may include safety glasses, gloves, life jackets and/or hard hats) as required for the task or work area
- Report all accidents, injuries, spills and near misses immediately
All other duties perform all other duties as assigned,
including carrying out responsibilities, performing duties, using skills, and
working in conditions necessary to perform all assigned tasks.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2-5 years’ marina experience preferred
- Ability to work safely around the water
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Basic boat handling skills are essential
- Knowledge of dock construction and repair preferred
- Knowledge of basic tools preferred

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, stoop, or bend for long periods of time.
- Ability to walk for an extended period of time.
- Work is performed both indoors and outdoors and may require a fair amount of physical activity; some of the work is done sedentary.
- May work outdoors in inclement weather.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
Work Schedule:
Marinas are open seven days a week typically from morning to sunset. We strive to provide flexibility,
whenever possible, and at the same time we must be able to maintain adequate staffing to meet the needs of our guests. Please note that working full or partial weekends is required.
