Description
Who We Are
Chick-fil-A Flemington, NJ is committed to living our Chick-fil-A shared vision to be the world’s most caring company. Our goal is to create moments and win the hearts of our guests by developing servant leaders through the foundation of our Chick-fil-A Flemington Leadership Standards of Excellence.
Program Overview
The Director In Training Program is a two-year leadership formation experience designed to prepare individuals for Director-level responsibility within Chick-fil-A Flemington. Through two intentional phases of development, participants build operational mastery, business acumen, ownership of results, and the ability to multiply leaders within a multi-million dollar organization.
Through formal mentorship in our LEAD program, you will gain professional development, entrepreneurial insight, and practical working experience inside a legacy brand. You will be challenged to manage people, systems, and processes in a fast-paced, high-performance environment where ownership and accountability matter.
Completion of the DIT Program prepares you for Director-level responsibility but does not guarantee promotion. Director promotion is earned through demonstrated ownership, sustained business results, leadership multiplication, and affirmation by the Flemington Leadership Team.
Whether you pursue a long-term career with Chick-fil-A or launch into another field, the DIT Program provides a foundation of leadership, stewardship, and real-world business experience that prepares you to succeed wherever you are called to serve.

Phase timelines are estimated. Advancement and responsibility assignments are based on demonstrated performance, OMP milestone completion, and business needs — not time in role.
- FOH and HOH operational training may be completed in either order.
- Base certification consists of a Modified Advanced TM certification (between Rising and Advanced TM levels).
- Trainer, Senior Trainer, and Coach certifications are completed in one house (FOH or HOH), not both.
Program & Promotion Clarification
The Director In Training Program prepares individuals for Director-level responsibility; completion does not guarantee promotion. Director promotion is earned through demonstrated ownership, sustained results, leadership multiplication, and affirmation by the Flemington Leadership Team.
Director readiness standards and promotion criteria are outlined in the Director Readiness Roadmap (internal document).
